Everything That You Need to Know About Locker Organizer Solutions: Alternatives to Containers and Shelves

Locker Organizer

If you have a large walk in closet, you can choose from a number of storage options to supplement containers and shelves. These include hooks, rods, wall supported baskets, cabinets, specialized organizers, and trunks.

Trunks are ideal for medium to long term storage of bulky items. Examples include seasonal belongings, outdoor decor, and sports equipment.

Some sports equipment, like baseball gloves, can also be stored on hooks. Hooks are a good option for things that you use regularly as they create a storage place that is highly accessible. Outerwear, hand tools, and garden tools are other belongings that store well on hooks. In addition to wall supported hooks, you can also purchase S hooks, which are perfect for wire lockers.

Wall supported wire baskets are another locker organizer that provides convenience and accessibility. Baskets keep your stuff contained and easy to locate. They work well for car care supplies, some sports equipment, and other frequently used items.

Another option to consider is rods and hangers. If you need to store seasonal outerwear, for example, hanging it is the best solution.

Cabinets are a solution to think about when extra security is needed as they can be locked. Hence, they're a good option for valuable items, like expensive power tools. They're also ideal for hazardous materials, like paint thinner and harsh cleaners.

Another option worth looking into is specialized organizers. These products are made to store specific belongings, like sports gear, golf clubs and accessories, hand tools, and so on. Since they can't be moved as easily as other alternatives (tool boxes, for example), they should only be used if your locker if close to home. Otherwise, lack of convenient access to the things that you use frequently could become an issue.

Convenient access is only one criteria for optimizing your choice of locker organizers. You should also consider the level of protection and security required. Finally, think about what you need to store and what your space will accomodate.
